Step 3 - Launching your Funnel with Paid Traffic

Once you build your funnel, you have 2 choices to get traffic. You either spend money (on paid traffic) or Time (through content marketing). There is nothing quick or easy about getting 'free' traffic with content marketing. But you can quickly get high quality, targeted traffic for paying for it. And this is the key. If you can't get your funnel to at least cover the cost of your ad spend with revenue back in, then you need to rebuild or optimise your funnel. That is the beauty of a paid ads strategy.

Step 4 - Building a Long-Term Brand with Content Marketing

Paid traffic is great. But here's the problem. You have to pay for it! Once you successfully launch your funnel with paid traffic, it's time to take your online business and branding to the next level. Content marketing is the way to depend on your connection with your audience throughout the buying process. And content marketing is not quick or easy. Quality matters. No content is better than low-quality content. You the founder must lead this and make it great. This is where a podcast, a YouTube Channel, or a Medium series can take your business to the next level. But it has to be in your voice and of the highest possible quality.

Building a real digital marketing strategy comes down to understanding three things.

1) Who are you trying to help?

2) What is the better future they are they dreaming of?

3) How can you show them a bridge that they will trust to walk towards their better future?

Strategy at its core is simple. But building a real strategy is hard work. And if you don't have a system, it will never work.
