This Workshop is about execution, not theory. You will be accompanied at all times by a James Cook Media Project Manager - there to help you at all stages. 

After the Workshop

You will have 3 calls with your dedicated Project Manager and discuss the initial results from your funnel launch. We’ll help you optimise your ad spend to improve the cost per lead.

**Please Note** If you do NOT complete all the homework assignments and attend all 3 calls, we reserve the right to reschedule you at any time to a later workshop. Working at the last minute is NOT an option. Your funnel’s success depends on you completing this work in good order.

Day 1 - StoryTelling Strategy
  • Validate Your Persona with other businesses

Day 2 - Prepare Your Advert 

Together with your experienced James Cook Media Manager, you will draft and practice your Facebook Advert so you're ready to film.

Day 3 - Film Your Advert

You will have 2 hours to film your Facebook Advert with top professional camera crews. You will be supported by your Project Manager to ensure your advert footage is just right.

Day 4 - Create Your Copy 

You will learn how to write awesome copy for all your emails and funnel pages. (All your copy will be checked by an experienced JCM PM).

Day 5 - Create your Advert

You will sit with either your Project Manager or an experienced JCM video editor to edit your advert. Create a professional advert that inspires your Hero to begin their journey.

Day 6 - Technical setup and Paid Ads

We get it. Technical set up is hard. That's why we'll do most of it for you in advance. On this day you'll work with your PM to do basic set up for your funnel to go live. You will be supported at all times by experienced JCM team members.

Having completed Day 6 your video advert will be live on Facebook - targeting your ideal customers. That’s it. You’ve built a funnel that will find customers and inspire them to make a positive change in their lives. You're finally selling online. 

You'll then have a number of follow up calls to optimise your Funnel results.

FAQ

  • Why do I need a Minimum Viable Funnel?
    • Funnels are hard work. They take hundreds of hours - when done by specialists. You can’t afford to waste time learning how to write code, edit videos, set up analytics and integrations. You need to be helping your Hero (customers) and paying bills. Your MVF is the quickest possible way you can start selling straight away.

  • What kind of Return on Ad (ROA) Should I Expect?
    • If you have a proven product (have sold repeat business to many customers) you should expect to have a marked reduction on your Cost of Acquired Client (CAC). If you have a new product, then plan for a 1:1 ROA. (For every EUR you spend, you will get 1 back). Your MVF enables you to start selling. Our StoryGuild customers have achieved ROA of 4 to 1 and 3 to 1 with complex funnels which often take multiple versions to get right.

  • I don’t want to feature in my advert. What do I do?
    • When you buy the workshop, you also buy your time in front of the camera. You may purchase an additional place for a colleague (see below)  if you wish that person to attend and film for you. That person must attend all calls before and after and take part in all modules alongside you. Only people who take the full course are eligible to be filmed on Day 3. You may not hire actors - your story must be ‘true’.

  • What if I want to bring a colleague with me?
    • The StoryMatters Workshop will be a huge learning curve. You will learn a huge number of skills from experienced professionals at the top of their game. Each place at the Workshop is valuable. If you wish to bring a colleague with you to learn the skills you learn you may purchase an additional place. Please see Payment Details for Pricing.

  • What if my funnel is in another language?
    • We are a diverse team from all around the world. We speak a number of languages. We will endeavour to place you with a Manager and pair that speak your language. If your funnel is built in English, you may always translate it post-Workshop into the appropriate language.

  • How much will be Facebook Adverts Cost Me?
    • You should plan to spend between 500 and 2000 EUR on Facebook adverts within the first 30 - 60 days of your Funnel launch. In your post-Workshop calls you will learn more about advertising and should your Advert not function, you can pause or amend your setup.

  • If I have already been through a StoryMatters Course, Do I have to attend Day 1 or 2?
    • Yes. The discipline of dedicating time to enter your Hero’s live and pain is one we believe should be mandatory. You must attend every day of the Workshop.

  • Is there any risk that my funnel won’t be finished by the end of Day 6?
    • No. Together with the whole JCM team, we will deliver your Minimum Viable Funnel. You will have an advert running and  If you wish to make your funnel more complex (such as record additional adverts or build more pages) then you may hire James Cook Media experts to build this funnel. If there is any technical or issues relating to your MVF left over, we will complete this for you. 

  • This sounds like really hard work. Will I keep up?
    • Yes. We have structured the days to be intense but well-spaced. You will have plenty of time for rest and relaxation. We are not planning evening social events during the course of the workshop in order for you to rest.  We are also planning additional meditation/relaxation sessions to help you rest appropriately.
