In 2012, Samuel P.N. Cook founded a media company while he was finishing his last of 13 years of active services as U.S. Army Officer.
A Cavalry Officer who served two tours in Iraq, Sam saw the power of stories to make history.
In his last five years in the Army, Samuel studied and taught Russian and Ukrainian history at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Raised by teachers, and a teacher himself, Sam decided to give up a secure career to pursue his life's work.
To help the world's greatest teachers change lives around the world with the power of digital StoryTelling.
James Cook Media is named after his late brother, James, who was the first member of the team.
James died unexpectedly in August of 2013.
October of 2013, Sam left the Army and traveled the world for a year.
The original team Sam built was based in Manila, Philippines. Ã¢â¬Â¨
During that year, Sam circled the world three times. Ã¢â¬Â¨
In October 2018, Sam decided to set up a physical location in Krakow, Poland.
In May 2015, Sam hired James Cook Media's CTO and Chief Designer to start development of the StoryFunnel Software.
In January, 2016, James Cook Media's headquarters moved to Warsaw, Poland where he set up a video team.
In August, 2018 the James Cook Media moved it's Headquarters to Kiev, Ukraine. Ã¢â¬Â¨
The expanded Office in Ukraine is to become the headquarters for James Cook Media's rapidly growing technical support and coaching team.
